Freelance Industrial designer specializing in eyewear and customer goods. I bridge the gap between your concept and production-ready reality - from trend research and material studies to supplier collaboration and techical execution.
Maybe you’re a startup building your first eyewear collection. Or an established brand exploring new materials. Perhaps you have sketches but no idea how to translate them into production specs.
Here’s the challenge: product development isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about understanding suppliers, materials, cost structures, and technical feasibility. It’s about turning “I want this” into “here’s exactly how we make it.”
With nearly a decade of experience in product development—primarily in eyewear but across consumer goods—I help brands move from concept to production with confidence. I don’t just design. I collaborate with your suppliers, create technical documentation, and ensure your vision works in the real world.
Whether you need a full collection developed or occasional project-based support, I bring the expertise to make it happen.

Perfect for:
Eyewear startups, fashion brands expanding into eyewear, or established eyewear companies needing freelance design support.
Why it matters: Eyewear is a specialized field with unique technical requirements. With nearly 8 years focused on eyewear design, I understand the nuances—from hinge mechanics to material durability to brand positioning in a competitive market.
What it includes:
What it includes:
Perfect for:
Established companies needing flexible, on-demand design expertise without hiring full-time.
Why it matters: Not every project needs a full design overhaul. Sometimes you just need a reliable expert who can jump in, solve a problem, and deliver quality work—fast.
What it includes:
Perfect for:
Brands working with overseas manufacturers, companies needing someone to "speak the language" of production, or teams lacking in-house technical expertise.
Why it matters: Even the best design fails if it can't be manufactured correctly. I've spent years working directly with suppliers—I know how to communicate technical requirements clearly and solve problems before they become costly mistakes
Every project is unique. Pricing depends on scope, timeline, and deliverables. Let's discuss your specific needs and I'll provide a tailored quote.
I’m a freelance industrial designer with nearly a decade of experience in product development, trend research, and material studies.
I specialize in eyewear and consumer goods, turning early concepts into functional, market-ready designs through close collaboration with suppliers and project partners. My approach combines creative vision with technical expertise—I don’t just design products that look good, I design products that work in the real world of manufacturing and market demands.
Alongside client work, I explore sustainable jewelry and object design as a way to experiment with materials, processes, and more responsible production approaches. This personal practice keeps my creative vision fresh and allows me to test innovative techniques that often inform my commercial work.
After nearly a decade working in-house and freelance, I established my independent design practice to work directly with companies and collaborators on product development projects. My focus is on creating design concepts, material and color studies, and prototypes that balance market needs with user experience.
Parallel to client work, I’m developing a small collection of jewelry and décor pieces using reclaimed and sustainable materials like wood, epoxy, and acetate. This personal practice allows me to push boundaries, test new processes, and explore more experimental approaches to materiality and form.
To prepare for self-employment, I completed a business development training program focused on entrepreneurship, brand strategy, and project management. This program provided essential tools for running a design practice—from client relationships and pricing strategies to portfolio development and business planning.
The training helped me transition from employed designer to independent creative entrepreneur with confidence and clarity.
I spent nearly eight years as part of the design team at Michael Pachleitner Group, where I developed new product lines and collections across their eyewear brands. My role combined creative development with technical execution—from initial trend research and mood boards to final CAD specifications and supplier coordination.
I conducted extensive material and color research to ensure each collection aligned with brand aesthetics and market trends. Working with international suppliers and internal teams, I helped transform early concepts into refined, market-ready designs that balanced innovation with manufacturing feasibility.
This experience gave me deep insight into the full product development cycle, from concept to production, and taught me how to navigate the complexities of working within brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
Early in my career, I worked on a diverse range of projects that built my technical foundation. I created industrial designs, technical drawings, and 3D models, while also handling graphic design for presentations and marketing materials. I prepared technical documentation for production and calculated costs for molding, machining, and assembly processes.
This multidisciplinary experience taught me to think beyond aesthetics—considering manufacturability, cost efficiency, and production constraints from the very start of the design process.

We start with a discovery call where we discuss your project goals, timeline, and budget. From there, I develop initial concepts based on your brief, present design options, and refine the chosen direction through collaborative feedback. Once the design is finalized, I create production-ready technical documentation and can coordinate with your suppliers to ensure smooth manufacturing
Project timelines vary depending on scope and complexity. After our initial call, I’ll provide a realistic timeline based on your specific project.
Yes! I work with clients and suppliers across Europe and internationally. All communication can be conducted in English, German or Slovene, and I’m experienced in remote collaboration through video calls, shared cloud folders, and digital presentation tools.
Every project is unique, so I provide custom quotes based on scope, timeline, and deliverables. During our initial call, I’ll ask about your project requirements and provide a transparent proposal outlining costs and what’s included.
Not at all. I can start from sketches, reference images, mood boards, or even just a verbal concept. Part of my service is translating your vision into technical reality—that’s what I’m here for.
Beyond client work, I create a small collection of jewelry and décor pieces under the name Lezena. Each piece is handcrafted from reclaimed and sustainable materials—wood, epoxy resin, acetate remnants from eyewear production—transforming production waste into unique design objects. This practice is both creative exploration and environmental responsibility. It allows me to experiment with material combinations, test new finishing techniques, and create one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate the beauty of sustainable craftsmanship.
